On successfully pursuing a bachelor of technology in the field of engineering, a candidate or the student concerned is eligible enough to sit for the second step in the line of engineering studies. This degree is the master’s of technology in engineering. This is generally pursued when the candidate wishes to further his/her career in the field of engineering. hence, he/she continues their academics, learning, and education, attempting to clear one step after another. Likewise, the best opportunities, services, options, and a wide variety is offered to students as well as the guardians to make their decisions on the colleges and departments. With the availability of a wide variety, it becomes easier and more flexible to make a wise choice.
In this case, it is quite the same as in b. tech. This is because there is again a wide scope for dealing with this degree in engineering as well with regards to the options in departments and colleges. The departments include computer and science engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics and communication engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, biotechnology engineering, and aeronautical engineering. The colleges would include IIT Madras, IIT Delhi, Woxsen University, Hyderabad, IIT Kharagpur, New Horizon College of Engineering, IIT Bombay, and others that are the same as those colleges that offer the degree for b. tech as well.
The primary difference between the two programs is that M.E. is a theory-based course and M.Tech is an application-based course.
It is always a great idea to pursue M.Tech after B.Tech. There are multiple options and a variety of scope for the same.
Eligibility for M.Tech 1 Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. 2 Should have been able to pass the admission exam. 3 Those who have finished a five-year program and earned a Master of Science degree are also eligible to pursue the Master of Technology program.
